			Synopsis
Today, thanks to the Canal du Midi, the Aude department benefits from an exceptional artery for tourists to discover typical villages.
But a major problem looms as the Aude lacks water. Here, people say: “it rains badly”. On the Mediterranean rim, barely 150 millimeters of water fall each year.
This is a tragedy, considering irrigating the vine plots that dot the region requires twice as much rainfall.
