Synopsis

Just as in ancient times, the modern city of Luxor stretches along the right bank of the Nile, a river over 6,500 km long that, from its source at Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea, provides countless benefits to the people living along its banks.

Today, it has a population of nearly 500,000, many of whom make their living from tourism.
