Synopsis

Overshadowed by Henry IV and Louis XIV, Louis XIII remains a little-known king.

Though ill, melancholic, and tormented, he must nevertheless tirelessly defend his throne against the plots hatched by his mother, his brother, and the kingdom's nobles.
