Synopsis

The history of Brazil begins in the immense bay of Salvador de Bahia, the first capital. Indeed, all trade between Europe and Brazil originated there, even slave ships coming from Africa. Salvador is now considered an Afro-Brazilian city.

Today, even with a population of 3 million, the city has been able to keep its authenticity and its unique duality. There is the beach on one side and, on the other, the colonial atmosphere created by magnificent buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.
