Synopsis

Jordan lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the Arabian Desert, at the crossroads of major civilizations. Because of its strategic location, the country has been a major link between Africa and Eurasia, said link being known as the Royal Road.

1300 years B.C., an Egyptian general named Moses guided the Hebrews out of Egypt along that road to reach the Promised Land. Then came the first Christian and, last but not the least, the Muslims.

All three religions have left their mark on this coveted land.
