			Synopsis
Between the Mediterranean and the Arabian desert, Jordan bridges the two great centers of civilization of the time, Egypt and Mesopotamia. The country has always been a privileged communication route between Africa and Eurasia.

Around 1,300 B.C., a general named Moses led the Hebrew people out of Pharaonic Egypt, using this route to reach the Promised Land.
Centuries later, Baldwin I, the Christian king of Jerusalem, undertook an expansionist expedition: the Crusades. A rich and exceptional archaeological heritage remains from this chaotic page in Jordan's history.
