Synopsis

They have one thing in common: you can't see them when the grass is high. Some are rodents, others are carnivores, reptiles, or monkeys. One way or another, they suffer from their small size, having to get by in an environment dominated by giants. They have learned to survive by exploiting whatever resources their tiny habitat provides.

Turtles, chameleons, mongooses, squirrels, and their likes all had to adapt smartly to survive standing less than 30cm from the ground.
