Synopsis

Sangita fights Monsanto and other giant pesticide companies daily. On her farm, where she uses exclusively traditional seeds, she’s defending the rights of farmers and aims to steer her community towards healthier food.

Through its association, Samy teaches the lower castes of India how to be heard and go after their dreams.

For her part, Manjula and the 30,000 women who joined the SWATE movement have been fighting for their rights for the past 15 years. They can now claim a space for themselves in India's social, political, and economic fabric.
