Synopsis

Crossed by the Yangtze River, Sichuan is known as the land of the iconic pandas dawdling in its endless forests of bamboo.

This mountainous region located in Southwest China is also the center of a rich and sophisticated culture. Led by the much-celebrated Chengdu, its millenary cities were the cradle of the greatest poets and various Buddhist traditions.

Between its Unesco World Heritage sites and the subtle flavors of its cuisine dominated by its legendary pepper, Sichuan is indeed the land of plenty.
