Synopsis

North America has always been aware of its rich biodiversity.

In the West, wildlife can still enjoy protected expanses like Yellowstone Park, the oldest in the country. Coiled in the Rocky Mountains, it is a true open-air encyclopedia of nature.

But a disease, which has been eradicated everywhere else, still rages among the big herbivores of the park: brucellosis. Elks are the most at risk.
