Synopsis

Located at the tip of the Malacca Peninsula, Singapore was born from waters, that of the oceans and the warm rains that fertilise the archipelago.

It is in this humid and tropical environment that the "most beautiful zoo in the world" was established.

Created in 1973 on 30 hectares, it welcomes more than one and a half million visitors a year who come to admire 2,600 animals.
