Synopsis

At the western end of the African continent, Senegal offers a true mosaic of landscapes and people.

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, it is arid in the north and tropical in the south. Populated by the Wolofs, Peul pastors, Diolas, Serer, and many other ethnic groups, the country is best explored through the rivers that crisscross it, shape its landscapes, and bring life to the villages that border them.
