Synopsis
Chile has many colors and varied landscapes, with a colonial legacy in Valparaiso or much heat in the Atacama Desert.
The problem is that the country lies on unstable land between two tectonic plates. Violent earthquakes - often followed by tsunamis - occur about every 10 years.
It’s only after the drama of 2010 that Chile decided to invest in studies and campaigns to raise awareness in order be able to prevent such phenomena.
