Synopsis

Even though a small country in Central America, Costa Rica is home to 5% of the world's biodiversity. National parks and protected natural sites account for a quarter of its area.

The country takes advantage of its valuable assets to no longer depend on coal or oil. All the electricity used by 5 million inhabitants is drawn from volcanoes, hydroelectric dams, and other renewable energies.

But climate changes have a real impact, and Costa Rica is looking for a solution to limit the damage.
