Synopsis
In the heart of the Pacific, the Fiji Islands can feel global warming. The slightest variation has disastrous effects.
Located in the path of the cyclones, this archipelago composed of 322 islands is highly targeted, like in February 2016 when hurricane Winston leveled many villages. Furthermore, the rising sea level does not spare the territory, while ocean warming disrupts the marine ecosystems and corals that are dying.
The recurring resettlements of the inhabitants have serious social consequences.
