Synopsis
A charismatic adventurer from Siberia, Grigory Yefimovich Rasputin, who called himself a monk and a healer, became the favourite of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna Romanova by treating her hemophiliac son. From then on, his sway over the imperial family knew no limits.
Some historians believe that his influence was partly responsible for the fall of the imperial house during the Russian revolution. Is there any truth to that statement?
