Synopsis
In the early summer of 1942, the American war machine is deployed in Great Britain.
The United States wanted to test its B-17 super bomber and decided to carry out World War II's first daytime air strike. They choose the railway junction of Rouen to cripple the enemy's military logistics. The operation was successful, but Rouen was leveled. Hundreds of civilians died, while thousands were wounded.
The inhabitants never forgave.
The US Air Force never apologized.
