Over the years, Masashi has built an international reputation, attracting ever-larger crowds.

His fame wins him an invitation to the international Bonsai Without Borders Summit in China where 75 world-class masters from 35 countries will compete. All that is known is that everyone will be sent to an unknown location for a 2-day competition and a lottery will determine each one’s space and tree to work on.

It is the ultimate test in front of the most critical audience possible.
