Synopsis
New Caledonia is a gem of global biodiversity, home to unique and exceptionally rich land and marine ecosystems.
The territory harbors incredible natural treasures: the largest lagoon in the world, a third of the planet's virgin coral reefs, and a rich flora of more than 3,300 species, most of them endemic. However, this exceptional environment is under threat from nickel mining, forest fires, and pollution.
Dream islands, prehistoric plants, whales, or sandalwood, this film takes us on a journey of discovery of an unknown and captivating natural heritage.
