Synopsis

Paris, June 2021. After months of lockdown, people can finally go out and reclaim the green spaces of the city.

Accompanied by the historian Chiara Santini, we start meandering in the first public gardens of Paris to try to understand why they are important. What are their effects on us? What do they tell us?

This is the story of a team of 19th-century engineers whose work shaped the public space.
