Synopsis

In 1982, Teresa De Simone was found lifeless in the south of England.

Sean Hodgson was only a petty criminal at the time. He accused himself of the murder, which he described in great detail to the investigators. The police are unaware, however, that Sean Hodgson is a pathological liar.

Despite a total lack of evidence or clues, the courts sentenced him to life in prison based on his confession. Scientific progress will allow him to be exonerated in 1999 thanks to a simple DNA comparison.
