Synopsis

On April 5, 1992, Sylvianne Kaas was killed in her posh home near the city of Rouen, in northern France, while her husband and children were out at the cinema.

At the scene of the crime, the police officers noticed that jewelry had been stolen. They logically concluded that it was a burglary gone wrong. But soon, rumors are being heard that the murder was ordered by André Kaas, the victim's husband. Financially desperate, he wanted to get his wife's inheritance.

André Kaas, a real estate developer with a flamboyant personality, has always been an oddity in the city’s good society.
