Synopsis

On April 27, 2011, Jean Meyer, 34, head of the control tower at a local airport, was struck several times with an axe. He suffered numerous wounds to the abdomen, chest, neck, and shoulder.

On the premises, investigators quickly rounded up the suspects. Indeed, access to the area is strictly restricted; only a select few agents with badges and unique keys are permitted entry.

Barely an hour after the tragedy, 35-year-old Karim Ouali, a trainee air traffic controller, is designated as the prime suspect. At his home, the police discover a note bearing his handwriting: "What happened at the airport was inevitable".

But why would Karim so brutally murder his superior?
