Synopsis

This second season reveals the incredible archaeological heritage of the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East.

Thanks to the knowledge accumulated by archaeologists and computer-generated images, we can finally see and visit monuments as they were originally and rediscover the great civilizations of Mesopotamia, Pharaonic Egypt, Ancient Greece, and the Roman Empire.

We also relive pages of history such as the rise of mythical cities, the invention of the first alphabet, and the clash of the Crusades.
